I finished The Velvet Room. It was excellent! So after Robin comes back from exploring, her dad and Rudy came with a man in a truck. Her dad had found a temporary job and home. She eventually finds a special room that most people can't get into. At the end with the thief's, it was like I was really there. I was glad that in the end she decided not to stay with Gwen when her family was moving. I think Bridget (or Bonita) finally made her realize that people were more important than rooms; especially family. I agree with Bridget that family is more important than just about anything. It felt great reading the book because I feel the same things Robin feels sometimes.
